Czech Republic (Prague) based Satellite service provider, INTV, will now be offering Hi-Speed Satellite Internet access through its HYLAS-1 KA Band Satellite. INTV was already offering Eutelsat's Tooway via KA-SAT Hi-Speed Satellite Internet.
OPERADORA TRIPLA based in Spain, Galicia, offers specialised technology and communication solutions for broadband and local TV operators. Established in January 2009, it has provided Broadband extension programmes to local organisations.
COMPUTEX of Warsaw, Poland, has extended its previous commitment to Avanti by signing a
larger contract to sell services on HYLAS 1.

20/04/2011 Romania: ASTRA and E-Sourcing partnership for ASTRA2Connect distribution
SES ASTRA announced that it has expanded its Internet via satellite service ASTRA2Connect to Romania, thereby increasing the availability for ASTRA2Connect in Central Eastern Europe to thirteen countries. A distribution agreement was signed with the Romanian internet service provider "E-Sourcing". The roll-out of the service will start in April 2011.
ASTRA2Connect is offered via distribution partners to end customers and businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The service is independent from any terrestrial networks and is immediately available anywhere within the footprint of the satellite. To date, ASTRA2Connect has more than 75,000 end-users in Europe, thereby representing the largest satellite-based broadband network on the continent.

04/04/2011 France: Eutelsat announces new contract between Skylogic and Sat2way
Eutelsat Communications announced today a new contract between its broadband subsidiary, Skylogic, and Sat2Way, a French Internet via Satellite service provider.
This four-year contract, worth an initial 4 million Euros, allows Sat2way to offer a range of Tooway packages with broadband speeds of up to 10 Mbps on the new KA-SAT satellite, which is planned to be fully operational by June 2011.
With over 3,000 subscription requests registered in the first two weeks of pre-sales efforts for the new generation Tooway service, Sat2way expects to exceed its objectives. Sat2way unveiled its new offering a few weeks ago.

18/03/2011 SkyDSL to offer flatrate broadband satellite access on KA-SAT satellite
SkyDSL announced its new SkyDSL2+ 10000 UL offering on KA-SAT, based on Eutelsat's Tooway Internet via satellite service. What's new with this offering is that it is not subject to limitations of data transfer. At least that's what SkyDSL says on its website, its newsletter for resellers and when we have called for confirmation.
