Uncertainties about the launch of KA-SAT satellite 07/12/2010
Following the failure of the last mission of the Proton-M (3 satellites destroyed) occurred on December 5, uncertainties intricates on the launch date of KA-SAT satellite.
Indeed, according to a statement from the Russian agency Interfax, it seems that all launches of Proton-M are suspended until the inquiry commission has not issued its findings.
The launch of Eutelsat's KA-SAT is still scheduled for next December 20, 2010 and the teams present at Baikonur have no information indicating any postponement of the launch. Preparation operations are continuing normally.
