Spain: NASSAT and Avanti signed for services on Hylas 1 satellite

Avanti, the broadband satellite operator, announced that it has signed with the Spanish service provider NASSAT a 3 year managed services contract. Avanti services will be delivered via its HYLAS 1 satellite, successfully launched into orbit on November 26th 2010. The Spanish company NASSAT provides satellite communication services, mainly to enterprise and media customers, but it also has specialist contracts with fire services and television stations. As well as fixed services it has transportable and quickly deployable systems for civil and government customers where demand continues to rise for cost effective bandwidth.
