KA-SAT should be in space in 2010 18/12/2010 According to the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center, the Eutelsat's satellite specializes in high-speed Internet, KA-SAT, will be sent into space by the end of December.
"The launch of Eutelsat's KA-SAT is scheduled for late December," the Center said on its website (in Russian).
Scheduled for December 20th, launch of KA-SAT has been postponed following the destruction of three satellites in the previous firing of Proton-M. All launches of Proton-M were then suspended pending the conclusions of the commission of inquiry to try to determine the causes of the accident.
