New Tooway Satellite Internet connection kit, KA-SAT compatible 22/12/2010
With the upcoming launch of the european high speed Internet satellite KA-SAT, a new version of the Surfbeam Tooway modem, made by Viasat, is going to be released. The new antenna will be a bit larger (71cm instead of the previous 67cm) and a new, more simple, configuration with just a primary reflector.
New Tooway Satellite Internet Connection Kit
This will be easier to setup secondary LNB allowing the reception of multiple satellite TV channels. The LNB included in the new Tooway Kit will include a "Sat Beeper" to facilitate the antenna pointing towards the satellite.
Even more convenient: the LNB has an USB input to connect a Laptop computer and a supplied spectrum analyser software will help the user to perfectly point the antenna.
This new Tooway kit will be supplied once the Satellite Internet ISP will use the new KA-SAT satellite which launch is expected by the end of the year.
