Satellite Broadband Ireland signs for connectivity on KA-SAT

Eutelsat and Satellite Broadband Ireland have signed a contract worth more than 5 millions Euros for connectivity on KA-SAT satellite. This new 3 year contract will allow Broadband Satellite Ireland to offer a Tooway Internet via satellite service with download speeds up to 10 Mbps and upload speeds up to 4 Mbps. Satellite Broadband Ireland will provide its services in Ireland but also plans to expand to the rest of Europe, under the full european coverage of KA-SAT satellite.
